How can I cancel my reservation? Will a cancellation fee apply when cancelling a reservation?
Prior to the day of your reservation, cancellations can be completed by following the procedure outlined in the reservation reconfirmation email. A fee will not apply for cancellations made prior to the day of your reservation.

Please cancel your reservation once and make a new reservation.
Can I cancel my reservation on the day?
Cancellations due to wet weather are acceptable and can be completed on the phone. Please be aware that in all other instances you will be expected to pay the total amount as a cancellation fee (exceptions may apply). In the event we do not receive any contact from you and you fail to show up on the day, you will be charged the total amount as a cancellation fee.

CAN I USE A LOCK, LIGHTS OR HELMET?
Wire locks and lights are installed on each bike. You can rent a helmet for ¥500.
Can you keep my baggage?
Yes. We can keep your baggage for ¥500.
DO YOU HAVE A BIKE WITH A CHILD SEAT OR A BIKE FOR KIDS?
No. Unfortunately these bikes are not currently available.
And also we cannot accept to install your own child seat in our bike.
What kinds of credit cards do you accept?
Payment can be made with VISA, MASTERCARD, DINERS, JCB and AMEX. (Single payment only.)
What is required on the day of rental?
On the day of rental, you will need to show a passport or identification card for each bike user.
Do you have any recommendations for enjoying Tokyo?
Our website introduces many attractions on the east side of Tokyo. Our staff can also provide special recommendations on the day.
What should I do if I get into an accident?
We cannot be held responsible for any accident, injury or other trouble that may occur during the rental period. In the event of an accident, please promptly carry out the following three steps:
・Provide assistance to any injured parties.
・Notify police and file a report.
・Contact Tokyobike Rentals Yanaka on (+81 (0)3-5809-0980).
How can I extend the rental period?
Please call us or stop by Tokyobike Rentals Yanaka prior to the return time.
CAN I RENT OR RETURN BIKES TO OTHER TOKYOBIKE BRANCHES?
No. The sole place of rental and return is only Tokyobike Rentals Yanaka.
WHAT DO I DO IF I'M UNABLE TO RETURN ON TIME?
Please notify us in advance. A surcharge will apply for late returns. *The surcharge applies to each bike: ¥500 for every 30 minutes or part thereof.
I REALLY CAN’T RETURN THE BIKE DUE TO TROUBLE OR INJURY…
Please call us in this instance. A collection fee applies when for any reason – trouble, injury or otherwise – you are unable to return the bike. The collection fee is ¥3,000 within 3 km, plus ¥500 for each additional 1 km.
WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE BIKE TROUBLE?
We cannot be held the responsible for any trouble to do with getting a flat. You agree to arrange repair at the nearest bicycle shop at your expense.
