As the humble partner of the famous udon restaurant Kamachiku, Yorokobi pairs udon with sake and is based in a renovated row house in Nezu.

Building on the foundations of its famed predecessor, the casual restaurant serves plump, freshly made udon adorned with toppings such as potherbs and juicy beef tendons. A selection of light tempura – including seasonal vegetables, seafood and chicken – and a long list of sake make for a luxurious meal by day or night.

While the ground floor counter is perfect for a quick and cosy meal, venturing up the narrow staircase reveals an impressive tatami room with high ceilings and stained glass windows, which provides a relaxed setting for a slow and satisfying meal.
